Date: 10th Sep 2018 Author: Carl Reeder

The 11th Ipswich Scouts helped organise the first Wolsey District Its An Emergency Camp. 6 of our Scouts had the honour of working with the Police, Fire Service, Paramedics and last but not least the East Anglian Air Ambulance. They resuscitated Annies, used fireman hoses, attended mock accidents, arrested people and crawled all over the emergency vehicles for a real everlasting experience.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
