Celebrating 100 years of Scouting

Our Scout Group opened at the St Thomas’s church Hall on 10th July 1925. The hall was at the corner of Bramford Road and Shafto Road.

The group plans a huge celebration at its Scout Hall in Chesterfield Drive on Saturday 12th July and call’s upon all previous members and leaders to get in touch and share memories of scouting at the 11th Ipswich

Cub Scouts Visit Care Home at Christmas.

Cub Scouts from the 11th Ipswich visited Henley House Care Home just before Christmas.
They were warmly welcomed by the staff and introduced to the residents.

The cubs had written Christmas cards and made some decorations for each of the residents and brought along mince pies for everyone.

The cubs handed out their gifts, chatted with the residents and played card games bringing lots of smiles to faces and everyone had a great time.

The staff praised the cubs and were very pleased with their visit, inviting them to visit again in the near future.

The cubs can ever proud of themselves. They were a credit to scouting and themselves.
Well Done!
