Our Cubs had an unforgettable adventure on their trip to LEGOLAND Windsor, packed with excitement, laughter from start to finish. From the moment they arrived, the energy was high as the group explored the park together, proudly representing 11th Ipswich in their uniforms.

The trip was a huge success – full of adventure, laughter and plenty of “wow” moments.
A highlight for many was meeting LEGO characters, getting wet on the water rides and posing for photos, adding a touch of magic to an already special day.

A big thank you to the leaders and volunteers who made the day possible and ensured everything ran smoothly. It’s safe to say our Cubs returned home tired, happy, and already looking forward to their next adventure!

We are 100 years old!

Our scout group celebrated its centenary on Saturday 12t July 2025 with hundreds of past and present members of the group joining the celebrations.

The group opened a new permanent display of the groups history and launched a centenary fund to benefit other scout groups in the county.

Joining the celebrations was Gary Burden and Mark Pearson the scouting lead volunteers for the County and the Wolsey district. They were both on hand to present Chief Scout Silver Awards to 9 Cubs and long service awards to leaders in the group.

They also supported the groups earliest member Bob Minter to unveil a commemorative plaque, plant a tree and bury a time capsule with items reflecting Scouting today.
