District Beaver weekend.

The 11th Ipswich Beavers Scouts (both Wednesday's and Thursday's), joined 130 beavers at the Wolsey district beaver camp at Hallowtree. They made potions, did archery, made shields and badges, were placed in the stocks, knocked down coconut shy, did grass sledging and abseiling, all dressed in a medieval style. The beavers had plenty of opportunity to complete their; experiment, nights away, adventure and outdoor challenge badges. For most of them this is their first chance to sleep away from home - very scary - and not as funny as the naughty bedtime poems. Well done to all the leaders who made it all happen.
