Castle Hill Explorer Scouts are one of four geographically based Units located in the Wolsey District in the County of Suffolk, providing the Big Adventure to young people aged between 14 and 18 years old.
It is our belief that at the age of 14, most young people know what they want. Explorer Scouts therefore have a big say in what they do, while being supported by adult volunteers. Just take a lot at our Programme.
In addition, Explorers Scouts can earn awards that are recognised by universities and employers. These are the Chief Scout's Platinum, Diamond and the Queen's Scout Awards, and the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards.
Also Explorers can train as Young Leaders, working alongside experienced adults, learning how to run activities for young people aged 6 to 14.
